CDT...A Pioneer in Drug Program Management
CDT was founded by Dr. Kim T. Jasper in 1985. Under Dr. Jasper’s leadership, the company became known as a pioneer in the field of drug program management.  Dr Jasper served as the Director of Doping and Gender Verification for the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. She was also selected to serve as one of the original members of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA, now Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, SAMHSA), Drug Testing Advisory Board. The Board addresses the most current and pending issues in the drug and alcohol testing field. Dr. Jasper’s pharmacology background has given CDT a keen understanding and command of the issues around drug use and abuse and an overall perspective of the industry.  Under Dr. Jasper’s leadership, CDT manages various Federal Workplace Drug Testing programs involving MRO, administration, management and testing for over 160,000 individuals annually.

CDT is certified as a Small Business by the State of California Office of Small Business and DVBE Services.  Additionally, CDT is certified as a State Women Business Enterprise WBE by the State of California, Department of Transportation and Utility Clearinghouse.  CDT is also located in a certified Enterprise Zone and TAPCA Zone for the state of California, allowing agencies to take advantage of State and Federal tax credits.

For over 20 years, CDThas been assisting large public and private sector organizations in managing their drug and alcohol testing programs, which meet industry standards and DOT and DHHS regulations. Organizations such as the United States Department of Justice, California Department of Correction, State of North Carolina Department of Correction and California Department of Transportation have relied upon CDT for timely, responsive and efficient services that are provided through CDT’s large network of certified collectors and state-of-the-art laboratories across the United States.
